Gua Sha

Gua sha, or 刮痧, means “scratch” & “sand” (sand refers to the raised redness on the skin). “Sha” is caused by the bacteria or virus toxins, which break the capillaries and form hyperemia areas or spots in the skin or mucus, and form sand-like scattered or condensed areas, which are removed by the use of Guasha.

After using gua sha, it is common for users to experience redness or tenderness (a sign of blood renewal) temporarily. The result lasts for a few days, that’s why it is to be used on a daily basis or at least in 3-4 days.

1. Chill them in Freezer for at least 10 minutes

How to use a Jade Roller

Inveda jade facial roller is a double-ended jade roller suitable for different parts of the body. The small roller is mainly for the eye area. The large roller is for the cheeks, neck, chin, and forehead.

1. Forehead – Move organic jade roller from the center of the forehead beginning at the hairline, rolling towards the ear, down to the temple.
2. Cheek, Neck, Chin – Roll the raw jade roller in an up and out motion from the neck toward the cheek. Massage on the face, from bottom to top, along the direction of skin growth
3. Eyes – Move from the inner corner of the eye area to the ear

How to use Gua Sha 

1. Run the flat side of the board under one cheekbone, from the corner of your mouth toward your ear. Repeat on the other side
